Light-Filled Contemporary Living

Our Italian executive clients approached Havana Interiors while living in the Netherlands, several months ahead of their relocation to Singapore.

With the entire project to be completed remotely, the brief was to create a beautifully furnished and fully prepared home that would be ready for the family from the moment they arrived in Singapore.

Their new 3,000 sq ft luxury condominium at Gramercy Park provided an exceptional starting point. Expansive full-height windows and doors extend across the entry, living and dining areas, connecting the interiors with the outdoor spaces and filling the residence with an abundance of natural light.

This became the inspiration for the overall design concept.

Rather than relying solely on a neutral palette, we took advantage of the apartment's brightness and introduced considered layers of colour throughout the home. These richer accents brought warmth, personality and depth to the interiors while still maintaining the sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic the clients desired.

Light timber finishes were selected to preserve the sense of openness and complement the natural light, while tactile fabrics, rugs, artwork and decorative pieces added softness and character. The result is an interior that feels layered and interesting without becoming visually heavy.

Furniture placement was carefully considered to maintain the flow between the living, dining and outdoor areas. Each space was designed to feel connected, allowing the family to enjoy the openness of the apartment and its wonderful relationship with the outdoors.

With the clients based in Europe throughout the project, Havana Interiors managed the furnishing and design process remotely on their behalf. From establishing the overall concept and selecting furniture through to coordinating orders, deliveries, installation and final styling, the objective was to make their international relocation as seamless as possible.

By the time our clients arrived in Singapore, their new residence was fully furnished, styled and ready to become home from day one.

The completed Gramercy Park residence is fresh, sophisticated and full of personality - a light-filled contemporary home where colour, natural materials and thoughtful design come together effortlessly.
